the clay club is a small community of potters based in queenstown, new zealand. we offer a limited number of memberships in our cosy studio.
Our pottery memberships give you the freedom to create on your own terms—with access to professional equipment, open studio time, and a community that inspires. Whether you're refining your craft or just getting started, we provide the tools, space, and support to help your ideas come to life.
What’s Included?
Our monthly membership gives you the freedom to create on your own schedule, with access to everything you need to make consistently.
Enjoy open studio access—come in whenever it suits you, outside of scheduled class times.
Each month, your membership includes up to 15 medium-sized pieces (7–10cm) for bisque firing, plus 15 medium-sized pieces (7–10cm) for glaze firing.
You’ll also have access to our studio glazes and shared tools, so you can focus on the making process without the extra setup.
Members purchase their own clay and any personal or specialised tools they’d like to use.
What’s required to become a member?
To ensure everyone feels confident and comfortable in the studio, we require all members to complete one of our 5-week courses before joining—regardless of previous experience or ability. This helps you get familiar with our space, processes, and equipment.
Once you’ve signed up, you’ll also complete a short studio safety induction and agree to our studio terms and conditions.
