At The Clay Club, everything begins with connection — to the earth beneath our hands and to the people beside us. Based in Queenstown, we’re a community of makers, learners, and friends who gather to shape, share, and create with clay.

Our studio is more than a workspace — it’s a place to slow down, experiment, and be inspired by others. Whether you’re new to pottery or have years of experience, you’ll find a welcoming space where ideas, laughter, and techniques are freely exchanged.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. From group firings and workshops to community exhibitions, we believe in learning together and celebrating every stage of the creative process. Clay reminds us that we’re all constantly being shaped — by our environment, our craft, and our connections with one another.

At The Clay Club, we make more than pottery — we make community.

Hello! I’m Connie, the creator of Saturday Ceramics. Originally from Dunedin, I relocated to Queenstown ten years ago, where I discovered my passion for pottery. I take pride in crafting handmade homewares that enhance everyday life primarily working on the wheel to produce mugs, bowls, and plates.
