Clay and Coffee, Intro to Wheel Throwing

Service Description

Whether you're a total beginner or a seasoned potter, this two-hour experience will be pure creative joy. You'll be learning the fundamentals of wheel throwing techniques like centering, pulling up, and shaping. What's included? We've got you covered, with coffee (or tea), clay, tools, aprons, glaze materials, and firing services. We will get coffee from Black Lab (the best coffee in town) and chat all things pottery before getting our hands dirty. You’ll learn to make three unique pieces, and at the end you'll choose your favourite piece, which will be carefully fired and ready for collection in 3-4 weeks. Please note that attendees must be over 16 years old.
